Plants are divided into 2 groups, vascular and non-vascular. Nonvascular plants are those that do not produce seeds, do not have vascular tubes, and lack true roots, stems, and leaves. Examples of nonvascular plants are mosses and liverworts. They are small and usually have underground branches that absorb water and anchor the plants to the ground.
