Plant Structure:
Plants are all around us and we use them in a variety of ways. Plants are divided into 2
groups, vascular and non-vascular. Nonvascular plants are those that do not produce
seeds, do not have vascular tubes, and lack true roots, stems, and leaves. Examples
of nonvascular plants are mosses and liverworts. They are small and usually have
underground branches that absorb water and anchor the plants to the ground.
