Your gift to Agriculture in the Classroom helps to tell agriculture’s story
Who supports AITC?
People and organizations that are concerned about the future of Virginia agriculture and education in Virginia help to support AITC’s educational programs and initiatives. AITC receives donations from individuals, corporations, private foundations, agricultural organizations, Farm Bureau organizations across Virginia and agriculture industry boards. The Virginia Farm Bureau Federation is AITC’s largest supporter through in-kind donations of salary support, accounting services, computers, technical support and more.
How is your gift spent?
In the 2009-2010 Foundation budget, approximately $.80 of each dollar is budgeted for educational programs. The balance of the Foundation budget supports fund raising and other business related costs. The Virginia Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom makes a steadfast commitment to fiscal responsibility in fulfilling its mission.
