Today, less than 2% of America’s population resides on farms, so it is no surprise that many Virginia students and teachers feel distanced from agriculture. AITC helps teachers incorporate information about this vast industry into their classrooms by providing information, activities, and resources on Virginia agriculture and natural resources that support Virginia’s SOL.
