Beans/Vegetables - Today more farmers are marketing directly to the Virginia’s growing population through pick-your-own operations, farmer’s markets and local farm stands. Farmers can increase their farm revenues through direct marketing while consumers have their pick of the freshest products available. Many of these farms also offer "agri-tainment" like corn mazes, hay rides and other on farm entertainment activities to supplement farm income. For more information about Virginia Grown locations visit http://www.vdacs.virginia.gov/vagrown-july/index.html.
